Members of the UT Dallas chapter of Global Brigades have the opportunity to travel to an under-resourced community in either Nicaragua, Honduras, or Panama in order to provide members of the community with medical, dental, and public health services.
During the brigade, members will shadow local doctors, dentists, and pharmacists as well as learn how to take vitals for incoming patients. Members will also create a lasting impact in the community by educating community members about good health and hygiene practices, as well as assisting with projects to improve sanitation and access to clean water. |
